TMOV14RP300E Allgemeine Beschreibung
The TMOV and iTMOV Varistor Series from Littelfuse introduces a new level of integrated circuit protection with its thermally protected varistors. These radial leaded MOVs come with an integrated thermally activated element that opens in the event of overheating due to abnormal overvoltage or limited current conditions outlined in UL 1449. The iTMOV varistor, in particular, includes a third-party lead for indicating that the MOV has been disconnected from the circuit, facilitating connection to monitoring circuitry. This integrated configuration not only offers quick thermal response but also lower inductance than most discrete solutions, resulting in improved clamping performance to fast over-voltage transients. What's more, the TMOV and iTOMV varistors are wave solderable, simplifying end product assembly and reducing expense and rework associated with hand soldering operations
