Members of the UC284xB family vary in their under-voltage lockout thresholds and maximum duty cycle ranges. The UC2842B and UC2844B are ideal for off-line applications with UVLO thresholds of 16V (on) and 10V (off). On the other hand, the UC2843B and UC2845B have thresholds of 8.5V and 7.9V, respectively. While the UC2842B and UC2843B can reach duty cycles close to 100%, the UC2844B and UC2845B offer a duty cycle range of zero to <50% by incorporating an internal toggle flip flop that blanks the output every other clock cycle
